Celtic Paws Agility is a small Dog Agility Club which is based at the Scottish SPCA Animal Rescue Centre at Balerno, just outside Edinburgh. Its members compete at Dog Shows throughout the country, at all grades and with all sizes and varieties of dogs. The club has been running now since the summer of 2007 and the quality of both dogs and handlers is growing from strength to strength. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings and is held outdoors during the summer months and indoors during the winter. Currently the club does not have the capacity to cater for newcomers to the sport of Dog Agility although enquiries are welcome from people already competing in the sport to join us for training. A great proportion of our dogs are rescue dogs which reflects the close association the club has with the Scottish SPCA.

For those of you unsure about what Dog agility is all about, we invite you to have a browse around this website. The site is under development but as it grows we hope to show you how we at Celtic Paws approach our dog training, what we get up to at competitions and how much we enjoy the relationships we have built with our canine companions. This website will also provide you with links to other dog related websites we believe are of value to you. We also have a Facebook site where we regularly post photos and video clips of our dogs competing at various shows. Please follow the link to this site to see what we get up to.
